1. Who we are
TunesLoader (tunesloader.com, “we”, “us”) is a free web tool that turns Apple Music links into M4A or MP3 files. It has no user accounts. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, and for how long. TunesLoader is not affiliated with Apple Inc.
2. What we collect
- What you submit. The Apple Music link or search text you enter, the format you chose, and whether the request worked. These go into our request log.
- Your IP address. Our server uses it to apply the download limits (3 per minute, 3 at a time); those counters live in memory and reset within minutes. Cloudflare, which serves this website, and the company that hosts our server also process IP addresses to deliver traffic and block attacks, and ordinary server logs may record them for a short time.
- A browser check. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that requests come from a real browser, using browser and device signals under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. Once you pass, we set a cookie (
ts_session) for one hour so you aren't checked on every request. - A live visitor count. While a page is open, your browser sends a random ID, made for that tab, every 20 seconds so we can see how many people are on the site right now. It isn't linked to your IP address or to any cookie, and it is forgotten within minutes of you leaving.
- Converted files. A file is stored on our server only so you can download it, and is deleted automatically within about an hour.
We don't ask for your name, email address or payment details, and we don't use Google Analytics or similar tracking. Cloudflare gives us aggregate traffic figures (such as page views and countries) from its own server logs, without cookies.
3. How we use it
- To find the song you asked for and deliver the file
- To apply fair-use limits and stop automated abuse
- To find and fix errors
- To understand overall use, such as how many downloads happen each day
We don't sell personal information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
4. How long we keep it
- Request log (link, format, result, time): about 8 days.
- Converted files: deleted within about an hour.
- Aggregate statistics, such as download counts or the most requested songs, may be kept longer. They aren't linked to individual visitors.
- Browser check cookie: one hour.
5. Cookies and advertising
TunesLoader itself only stores small settings in your browser:
- Light or dark theme, and the format you last picked
- Your answer to the cookie banner, if you were shown one
- The one-hour browser-check cookie described above
TunesLoader is free because it shows ads from Adsterra, a third-party advertising network. Its scripts load from its own servers, receive your IP address, browser and device details and the address of the page, and may set cookies or similar identifiers under Adsterra's privacy policy (adsterra.com/privacy-policy), not this one.
In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked first: ads that use cookies don't load until you choose “Accept”, and “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page changes your answer. An ad blocker or your browser settings can also block them; the converter keeps working without them.
6. Other services involved
- Apple's public catalogue. To read song details, our server asks Apple's public catalogue services and music.apple.com pages about the link you entered. Apple doesn't receive any information about you from us.
- Public recordings. Our server fetches the matched recording from public sources. Those sources see our server, not you.
- Cloudflare (hosting, security and the browser check) and Adsterra (ads), as described above.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you can ask to access or delete personal information about you, or object to how it is used. Because there are no accounts, we usually can't tell which log entries are yours; if you send us the time and the link you used, we'll do our best. Write to contact@snapdownloader.net. We reply within 30 days.
8. Children
TunesLoader is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
If we change how TunesLoader handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
